Pappa!
It has been a long time that I have blogged or I have written about something. Finally today was the day when I felt like writing something. And again inspiration was "dad"..he said something and i felt like writing about it. And coincidentally today is father's day. I didn't wish my dad. I don't believe in wishing him just for today and buttering him. But on a social networking site I just posted my mood as "celebrating father's day". Its not that I celebrated this or something but its for sure that I wanted to write something about my Pappa!
Most of the people in this world love to write about their mothers, all of them praise mothers for their hardships but most of the times we forget that its not just mother but there is another person behind creating you as a person. I used to always irritate my teachers by asking one question that you people always give topics like"my mother" in essay writing but never ever give topics like "my father"...and I remember in seventh standard making teacher add another topic for one minute talk that is "my father" just because I wanted to talk about my "pappa" in front of my class. He was my teacher in school. But always treated me as a student. Sometimes I used to get jealous that he treats other students as his daughters and me as his student. Pappa has also played a very important part in inculcating in me the "gene" of acting! I act well although I cant paint well like him but i scribble! :P
Some people recognise me as Pappa's daughter by looking at my eyes. I am lucky enough to have eyes like him. The eyes which are meant to see dreams. My mom many times says that I have inherited many of his habits. That's very true! After all I am his daughter and he is my father. I am proud to have father like him. Yeah, we do have arguments, we do have different opinions about certain things but still I respect him. To tell you frankly till now I have not written poetry about my mom but if you go to see my poem diary you will find that first poetry is about "father". He is an inspiration, he is motivation, he is role model for many in the fields of theater arts, fine arts and many other!and I am proud that this colorful man is my father, whatever I am today It is because of this man, the colors that I have absorbed are from this man....love u pappa!!! :):) Happy father's day!! :):)
