Her Power..!!!

I think there is some measure in physics called “horse power”. Don’t know much about it but according to Google its “Horsepower (HP) is the name of several units of measurement of power. The most common definitions equal between 735.5 and 750 watts”. Maybe, but recently I experienced or I knew that power but never thought of writing about that power and the power is “her power”. Now I don’t need to tell you who is she? Should I? Ok! The creator of the world, so called “fair sex” (although there are exceptions like me the darker ones) the women power. I knew that she is strong I knew that she has the caliber to survive in any situations but recently when I visited a young girl suffering from some serious disease in hospital I was again enlightened with this power. The girl was pinched with all sorts of wires around her neck that they put in hospitals and she had come out of ICU just in the morning. But my goodness the girl was smiling, laughing actually and talking endlessly. Her mother narrated an incident where she was being taken inside the room even the doctors were shivering to start medications on her as the case was really serious but the doctors said that just because she did not scream and was smiling they were able to save her. That’s “her power”.

Women! She suffers, she gets hurt but something is there in her that allows her to smile and carry on with the life. There is a misconception among the men and also women that women are emotionally weaker and they tend to cry easily and quickly. But as a psychology student I have learnt that and also experienced that it is false. Totally false! By crying she just takes out her emotions. She doesn’t hide it somewhere deep inside like men do. They try to show that they are strong and control their cry. But I have seen women in my life, my mother, and my friends who have stood strong during the tough times of life. I am not being sentimental or emotional but it’s just that I am throwing light on the reality of life which is hidden somewhere in the cobwebs of customs and traditions. Traditionally we are considered as weaker sex just because only in physical aspect we are weaker than men but let me tell you my dear opposite sex people we are stronger than you in emotional, psychological, social, intellectual and sexual aspects. You want the proof? Ok! Do u guys ever try to express your emotions? No! Even if you do they are all mixed and never proper. Do we women start smoking out of little stress? Actually we go through so many stressful events like menstrual cycle and pregnancy but still do we? No! Because naturally our psychological health is better. And we can cope with the stresses of life easily. You people often tag us as “gossip queens” you know why? Because women are socially strong. We survive because we talk and we express. It’s not that men do not express but they do it little.  Of course I don’t need to talk about intellectual stuff as we already know that most of the state rankers are girls and more girls pass in the board and university exams than boys. And when it comes to sexual aspect I am not so experienced about the things but I can definitely support what research says.

I guess my heart was too feministic this time. Yeah… the “her power” hidden in me do come out in such way sometimes. This doesn’t mean I intended to hurt men. I love men. All of them in my life but just wanted to say that don’t underestimate women. We are not weaker sex! When the time comes “her power” does arise and it would keep arising!Salute to the "her power"..!
